Eddie House’s agrees to two-year deal with Heat

Eddie House’s agent says the veteran guard has agreed to terms on a $2.8 million, two-year contract with the Miami Heat. House was a second-round draft pick by the Heat in 2000 and spent his first three NBA seasons with them. He has since played for eight other teams, including Boston and New York last season, when he averaged 7.0 points in 68 games off the bench, with a reputation for making clutch baskets. House will be a strong contender for a reserve role as part of the Heat’s supporting cast for Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

Kanye West Drops Current Album Title

Kanye West no longer wants a Good Ass Job. After much speculation, the hip-hop star has revealed that he is cooking up a new album title.
“The album is no longer called Good Ass Job I’m bouncing a couple of titles around now,”
He earlier announced that he would continue the college theme of his previous albums The College Dropout, Late Registration, and Graduation. Good Ass Job was to be the last installment in the series.Kanye West’s fifth album is scheduled for a September 14 release.

Yao may retire after this season!!

Houston Rockets center Yao Ming is considering quitting basketball after next season if he doesn’t fully recover from his lingering foot injury.In comments to Chinese state media Monday, Yao sounded far from optimistic about his future and also made a rare criticism of China’s national basketball program.
“If the foot injury does not heal next season, I might choose to call it quits,” he said.
Yao turns 30 in September and missed last season following foot surgery. He is set to return to the Rockets after deciding not to opt out of the final year of his contract. Though he has said his recovery was going well, the Rockets have signed 7-foot veteran Brad Miller to share the work at center.

Eminem Tops Rick Ross on Albums Chart

The Miami MC’s fourth studio album Teflon Don finishes second to Eminem’s Recovery on the Billboard 200. The rappers were neck and neck throughout the week, but Eminem surpassed Ross’ sales by 11,000 to remain No. 1 for a fifth straight week, selling 187,000 copies.
Teflon Don moves 176,000 units, becoming the first album from Ross not to arrive at No. 1. His last three studio efforts all debuted in the top spot.
