The Olympics: Team USA Cruises Past Greece

Yea the USA team did cruise past Greece, but if they dont start making some 3 pointers, Spain may just light that ass up on Saturday. We’ll see tho…

The Movies: Body Of Lies

As you might know, BODY OF LIES reunites Leonardo DiCaprio with his Oscar-winning DEPARTED screenwriter William Monahan. Based on a novel by The Washington Post’s David Ignatius, it’s about a CIA Operative (Dicaprio) who gets jerked around by the veteran head of Jordanian intelligence (Russell Crowe) whilst attempting to take down a big-time terrorist leader. It’s dense material, but it’s also got a crowd-pleasing thriller bent that should win over folks who’d rather not cough up $10-a-pop to relive ongoing foreign policy blunders.

Hit theaters October 10th. Leo,Russell and Ridley? Im there.

The Movies: Traitor

First of all, please know that Don Cheadle is one of the best actors in the game today. I cant remember a bad piece of work from him. I am still patiently awaiting the Miles Davis biopic that he has been rumored to be in for years, but until then, I’ll just continue to enjoy the boy’s work. Peep game:

When straight arrow FBI agent Roy Clayton (Guy Pearce) heads up the investigation into a dangerous international conspiracy, all clues seem to lead back to former U.S. Special Operations officer, Samir Horn (Don Cheadle). A mysterious figure with a web of connections to terrorist organizations, Horn has a knack for emerging on the scene just as a major operation goes down.

Hits theaters on August 29th.
