You know what this is a good look for ?uest and crew because they’ll be the house band for Jimmy Falon when he takes over for Conan. I can happily say that I was fortunate enough to see this great band perform. Despite being constantly left out of the “that nigga is nice” convos, Black Thought is REALLY is a master of ceremonies. His breath control, energy and just overall stage presence are bar none, seriously. You have until next March to catch em on stage, I suggest you get it in. OKP has the info of course:
The above video popped up in this thread on the message boards Friday evening and took us by surprise. The news has been out for some time that come March 2009, SNL darling Jimmy Fallon will take Conan O’Brien’s place on NBC’s “The Late Show” when O’Brien succeeds Jay Leno as host of “The Tonight Show.” Jimmy is a big fan of The Roots and for the last few months the Okayplayer staff has been aware of talks between Fallon and the Legendary to bring them on as the show’s full time house band, effectively putting their non-stop touring schedule on hold for the first time in 18 years.
