The NBA Season officially got underway last night, and there was a celebration here in L.A. The Lakers had some of the greats from the past come thru to participate in the ceremony. The Lakers got their rings, put up the new banner, then gave the Clippers the business. The NBA is back and its faaaaaaaaaaaantastic.
Gilbert Arenas made his return to the Wizards line up after playing only 15 games during the last 2 seasons due to 3 knee surgeries. He has chilled out with the blogging and shit talking and has really been focused on his game, and it showed last night. The Wizards beat Dallas IN Dallas and Gil chipped in with 29 points and 9 dimes, nice start eh?
The Boston Celtics ruined the Cav’s opener last night in Cleveland. Bron Bron dropped 38 and had 9 dimes, but Boston was just too strong. Shaq looked….slow, but thats to be expected, we all know Shaqtus is not the dominant force anymore. All I know is the Cavs need to run some damn plays, because 4 dudes on the court just watching Lebron play is not gonna get them deep in the playoffs.
