10 Tips for Better Print Style

Print.css example

Magento includes the print.css sheet out-of-the-box. We have styled ours to accurately display what we want displayed whenever someone tries to print. In Chrome and Firefox, this works 100% with no problems. However, IE sucks and prints out a page that looks like pages that were styled by print.css BEFORE we messed with it. For example, in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. (Good Browsers) only the product image, price tier, description, and attributes/specs were listed. In IE (Terrible Browser), it still includes the left sidebar, image zoom slider, and pretty much everything I set to display:none; in print.css.

I haven't been able to find anything so far that tells why IE chooses to be so broken in this manner (as well as most others), or what I may be doing that is making it not work properly. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated, as I am currently on the verge of calling Microsoft and screaming at them for repeatedly releasing such an INFERIOR PRODUCT.
